Specific question for Cakewalk.

Will there be a regression release?
I notice there are many many issues with the start screens etc.

Also people still seem to have problems downloading via CCC.

Also when is promised the Rapture Pro release coming out? Same with concrete limiter?

And we still need BIG issues fixed with Z3TA+2

Thanks..

Unless it's a data-loss crash bug, I don't expect to see a maintenance release.
On the other hand, under the new business model we can have a high confidence that an update will arrive in ~3 weeks.

Good times!

I would agree, but one has to bare in mind this was one of the few features released with H, and this functionality was (unfortunately) enabled by default. Foreign language users can't really use it. Heaven forbid people demo'ing this with a view to buying it might think.

One way or the other I'd still like to know what is actually happening (not just with Sonar).

Can you point me to promises along these lines?

They normally tell us. They've told us there is another Rap Pro service pack on the way for instance in the instrument forums a long while back (I'm beginning to think it's not going to happen), and they have regularly told us a Sonar maintenance release is on the way in the past (I am guessing there won't be as we haven't heard anything).

With Z3TA+2 we've had to cope with a lot of bugs for years and it is still for sale. If they are never going to fix issues again here it's time we heard.

With concrete limiter they said a patch is coming out as soon as they sort a CCC installer (a while back) so ever hoping. I wonder how long before it's time to give that up.

Thanks...

Can't you just roll back a version?

For what it's worth I'm happy to stick with Gloucester for a while, those foreign language users though might feel different. Rap Pro, CL and Z3TA+2 however is a different matter.

I appreciate at this point I may have put myself in the way of being accused of strangling kittens etc and a bun fight. But this is a pretty simple question aimed squarely at Cakewalk ask what is happening with service pack support. At this stage I think it's pretty reasonable, I'm not moaning on about the actual issues... If you want I can, but they are documented so I don't see much point.

I appreciate the suggestion but this thread has only been up for 4 hours.
