Hi
Just a little advice on this one.

Is It possible to edit a  midi notes volume, like adjusting velocity In piano roll.
I would like to adjust some note volumes without writing a automation track.

All the best

you could, I suppose, add a CC7 in event view just before the note. But then you'd have to do that for each change in volume. I've not done that kind of stuff for a long time...

the interaction between midi and note volume is complicated.    In kontakt, in some instruments, all of the following affect the actual loudness of the sound:   midi velocity, midi CC7 value, midi CC11 value, midi CC1 value, keyswitch last hit.   And sometimes midi velocity (how hard the key is pressed) is ignored altogether.   So you have to look at what's making the sound, and identify what changes that sound.    Then .. either draw the controller or make an envelope or adjust velocity or whatever is appropriate for your setup.

Hi Will and Synkrotron

I thought there would be an easy way to do that with an up down shift with the smart tool.
I can always draw the volume using points.

Volume and Expression which alter the amplitude, are not properties of notes. They are continuous controller messages and therefore affect all notes in the channel. You can display the CCs in the PRV and add an event just before a note. But it will affect all notes in the channel and remain set until a new cc is sent . This is different than the way that velocity works, which is a property of a note.
