Hi! I'm new here!

First, my issue: I'm using Sonar X3, and my OS is Windows 7. I'm using an Acorn Masterkey 49 MIDI controller, and it has worked pefectly well witn Sonar, (and still does) but I'm having an issue with Cakewalk TTS-1.
When the problem first came up, I would press a key on the controller, and then it wait like seven seconds before it would play the note on the track. But now, it won't play the note at all.
I looked at step sequencer and Piano roll, and it still works with those. In fact, in piano roll view, if I press a key on the controller, it still lights up there, it just doesn't do anything to the track.
This problem only seems to be with TTS-1. Any help would be appreciated.

Now, my question: Is there any sort of special upgrade pricing upgrading from X3 to the new Sonar? Just curious, because I'm thinking about upgrading.

Thanks!

Hi. It would help if you shared more of your specs (cpu, RAM, Audio interface, etc). It helps narrow down. There are still good upgrade prices http://www.cakewalk.com/Products/SONAR
And there has been quite a few upgrades and bug fixes since X3.
Do you have MIDI out routed to Microsoft GS Wavetable Synth? If so uncheck it.
Best of luck.

Be sure you are not using any sample rate higher than 48 kHz. TTS-1 wont work with higher ones.

Thanks for the help, guys!

MIDI was routed to Microsoft GS Wavetable synth, so it's fixed now.

TTS-1 runs fine at 96kHz. It does require setting "Light Load Mode" every session. TTS-1 does not work at 88kHz.
