  • Strange (to me) size/layout issue.

Ive been working on a few songs out of a 9 song project and started to move deeper into the tracks.

The first 4 songs I worked with all had the same layout and more importantly FONT TYPE AND SIZE and SCREEN SIZE.
All of a sudden I open the 5th tune and the screen is different. The mixer instead of having say 12 channels displayed now has 24 or so. I had to scroll up and down to view the PC on the screen and now I can view every module without scrolling.

Ive tried the different screenshots but this doesnt help.

There are two settings for strips in the Console view Strips menu "Widen All Strips" and "Narrow All Strips"

Nah its not that. I found the issue is inserting True Pianos as a soft synth.
It only does it when that thing is loaded.

So I haven't experienced this issue with Sonar until this week when I got a new laptop with a better screen resolution. After finally getting Sonar installed, I start a new project and the first instrument I load is TruePianos. Sonar shrinks, and when I make it fullsized again all the fonts are whacked out with different scaling. I'm thinking there's a problem with the new Sonar update or with Sonar on Windows 10 but now I find its this TruePianos problem. It's too bad because that has been my goto piano since it started coming with Sonar. Is there a fix for this anywhere? Do I just dump TruePianos and get a new piano VST?

Gloucester introduced DPI enhancements which could change behaviour. Make sure your fonts are set at 100% size in windows (for starters). If you've updated to Windows 10 make sure you've downloaded the latest displayer driver afterwards and reboot (do that anyway if you haven't updated to win 10 thinking about it).

Make sure your screen resolution is set up correctly afterwards.
