Of course we don't yet have a full lust of bug fixes... Not complaining. I understand...

Just hoping for some little fixes such as the zoom key one again working correctly for a hold-z zoom? (Returning to the smarttool when z is released)

Pain to manually switch back and forth with every edit...

Hey Keni . . . I was also hoping this would get "fixed" . . . but then I noticed that the Z key command actually toggles
zoom mode on + off . . . So, if you are using the Smart Tool, and click Z, clicking Z again (after your zoom) will return automatically to the Smart Tool . . . isn't that what you were asking for ?

This is the most underwhelming release yet. I guess devs were on vacation.

I'm sure, but try to find the derivation of that word. Something like "New South Wales" is pretty easy to parse  A lot of towns have names based on Native American languages and have particular meanings, like Ho-Ho-Kus - which maybe sounds like the name of a comedy club, but is a contraction of two Lenni Lenape words and means "The Red Cedar."

But I can't find anything on Hopkinton - no "King Hopkinton the Third," no corruption of a saying. The closest I've been able to find is that in Sanskrit, Kinton means "crowned." And "hops" relate to beer...hmmm, maybe the name means "Beer King."

Since you live there...can you shed any light on a subject which probably no one cares about except me? If not, then spread a rumor around town that the derivation of "Hopkinton" is "Beer King," and we'll see if it gets any traction

Hi Craig-

You're not alone. I've had to type it a few times now and I always feel like I must be misspelling it and it really should be "Hopkinston" or "Hopkington" or something. There's something fundamentally weird about it, no question

Hopkinton = Last name of an early colonist (Hopkins) with a suffix that is a variation of town

Well, then, why not "Hopkinston," as I said? They've clearly been misspelling it for lo, these many years.

Thanks, Rick-

Well, I certainly hope the devs were on vacation!!! They deserve it more than anyone considering all we got this year already ... and of course the best way to ensure high quality and innovation is to look after your employees and give them enough time off to do other things ...

If I were to speculate (badly I'm sure) all the effort is going into the upcoming audio enhancements.
The handful of bug fixes (track view mainly) appear to pave the way for it.
