  • Having problem installing Hopkington. (SOLVED)

Anonymungus!
The first time I've had a problem since the launch of Command Center. I believe the download (Hopkington) is OK, but as it installs it gets hung-up in 3 places with the following message:
"MoveFile failed; code 183. Cannot create a file when that file already exists."     with option to Abort, Retry or Ignore. So, after clicking Retry and eventually Ignore, it appears to successfully install. (the first time I actually clicked Abort and re downloaded like a good boy would). But back on the CC main screen it still shows "Update Available"
I right-clicked on the Platinum icon, which is yellow, and it shows a short menu. I clicked on "delete 2 items", all is good.
I re-download Hopkington again, and as it installs it gets hung-up in the same 3 places, with the same error message.

At this point I don't know the best way to proceed. Your kindly advice would surely be appreciated!  Thanks

(by the way, before I even went to the CC, I had downloaded the new eZine from the Cakewalk website. Maybe this has something to do with it?)

Soundslike you still have some sonar processes running.   Have you done a clean reboot and then update?

Or run as Administrator?

PROBLEM SOLVED !!! - Believe it or not, it was because of the eZine that I had previously downloaded from the Cakewalk website.
I deleted that, and subsequently the installation went fine.
