  • [Solved in Hopkinton] Selecting a range on the timeline bug in Gloucester???

If I select a range of time on the timeline and then click on a track, that range does not become highlighted nor can I perform any operations on that track.
If I select a range of time on the track, then it does become highlighted.
Something broke...

I thought range select for specific tracks worked the other way around... as in you select the track(s) first THEN do the range select. This tripped me up for years. Doing it the other way around resulted in the whole length of the selected track to overide the original range selection.

Just tried it on my laptop, different system and the same thing...

What tool are you using to select with? When I use the smart tool I can select anything I want with the time line as the time selection or not.

Same result with the Smart Tool or Select Tool.
Can't even select multiple tracks at all.

hmm... Can you post steps for others to reproduce? I don't have Gloucho installed myself but if selection has been borked best if the community confirms so a hotfix can be worked on ASAP.

Oh and try in a new project as a test control.

Cheers.

I reverted to Foxboro on my daw and it works as expected in Foxboro but left Gloucester on my laptop for further testing.

It's not project specific either, new or old projects - same...

And you're still on Win7 Pro... right?

This Win 10 update does concern me a little. I'm still convinced a large part of the issues I had with X2 were related to the Win8 stuff they crammed in prematurely. Not saying that's it... just sayin'.
