It's not project specific either, new or old projects - same...

Repro steps? John said he was dl'ing... probably installed. He, and I'm sure others, could check it out by now with the right steps.

Repro steps:
New project
Drag two separate audio files into the project.
Select a portion from the timeline and then select the first track you dragged in.
Or select a portion from one of the two tracks and then try to change tracks.
Or try to select both tracks...

I thought range select for specific tracks worked the other way around... as in you select the track(s) first THEN do the range select. This tripped me up for years. Doing it the other way around resulted in the whole length of the selected track to overide the original range selection.

Hi Beepster...

I've always selected the time range first and i get the expected reult of correct export length... So I'm huessing it' supposed to work either way?

Hi, Keni. Yeah that seems to produce an export of eveything when no tracks are selected but if you range select with nothing selected then select a track the track selection overides the range selection... or has been my experience in the past. I could be mistaken though. Working from memory.

Hope you've been well. Cheers.

Can you select more than one track?

#14 works on 8.1 and Foxborough, just in case people question whether it was working before.
I won't be installing Gloucester for a couple of weeks/next maintenance release so sorry I can't test.

yes, I can select both tracks and the selection from the timeline is highlighted in both tracks. Or I can select either track alone with same result.
