Here's a video where I select a range, the second audio track gets highlighted and I can't select the first one, not trying to select multiple tracks, just the other one...

Must be that evil, black pointer you're using.

I'm thinking reinstall from a Cakewalk Store download. Possibly some .DLL didn't get updated.

The evil black pointer is a stock MSoft issue alternative to the standard default pointer...
Just re-downloaded from the store and reinstalled, no change...
This issue appears on two different systems with a blank project (no plugins at all).
No control surfaces on the laptop, not using ASIO4ALL, using the latest Focusrite drivers for the Scarlett 6i6 connected to my laptop.

I just tested with Platinum x64 and Windows 7 64. Works exactly as expected here, with different tracks, ctrl-clicking, deselecting, moving the timeline and trying again, etc.

That's how Foxboro works for me but not Gloucester...

Gustabo, I've been using 32-bit Everett on Windows 7 64-bit OS, and I actually decided to download Gloucester to see if I could see what you've shown in your video captures.

I couldn't! I see the same behavior in both releases (32-bit apps on 64-bit OS).

Sorry, I can't back you up on this one.

I can select multiple clips but not multiple tracks.

The video was done with Gloucester, so can't help you out there.

When a veteran user encounters a problem no one else can reproduce, it further bolsters my "poltergeists are real" theory.
