Hi Everyone,

Does anyone know if it is possible to select say 2 midi tracks ,then as i am entering in midi notes in PRV the same notes go to both midi tracks ??

i realise that i could copy and paste though im wondering if there is a way , as iam drawing a midi not that it can go to multiple tracks at the same time ??
Thanks In Advance

Copy and paste is the only way I know of.

A virtual MIDI cable (LoopBe1 or LoopMIDI are free) can take a data from one MIDI track and route it to other MIDI tracks.

Or create dummy linked clips beforehand.

but as I've written in an other topic :) it introduces some delay

so some stupid MIDI dumper VSTi which simply route the notes from its input to its output , I've used an empty MUX, working better, the virtual MIDI cable based routing as u can see in the in Folder2 not quite perfect

Hi Every One , thanks for the replies .

Or create dummy linked clips beforehand.

This is kind of what i would like however the option to select say  3 or 4 clips > then link them >do some piano/midi editing, so i applies to all 3 or 4 >then unlink them > and also do individual piano roll/midi work on these seperate/unlinked clips ??

Surely this is a must for the future !!!!

And i wouldnt be too difficult for cakewalk to apply this because they already have it for copy and paste and drag and drop , just need it to be more flexible !!!!!!!!

So how do we ask sonar to make >Working with linked clips<More flexible ( e.g a link/unlink button on each clip that can be pressed similar to the echo input button , which ever tracks link/unlink button is highlighted then they all link in midi editing ???Simple
