I have wavs that were recorded at 96,000 hzs and 32 bits, ieee float (broadcast) wavs - I believe I correctly changed audio properties, but wavs are still just not importing into file - am I on the wrong menu, is there a reason they would not import even if I was at 16 44.1?  Anyway I can seem to access these files, there are a lot I'd rather not have to go to another program to convert (they play in windows just fine); does anybody know what the problem is?  I'm also on mme 32 bit (which has worked fine for 16 44.1, don't think that should matter or should it?  Help appreciated.

Are you sure they are not importing? If they are broadcast waves they could be way down the timeline. If this is the case, deselect "Always Import Broadcast Waves At Their Timestamp" in Preferences > File > Audio Data
