Just curious.  I was prompted recently when closing SPlat (not CbB) and got me to wondering if these reports from the now legacy product still serves a purpose.  I.e. are these reports now viewed/received by Bandlab?

No the legacy Platinum products aren't managed by BandLab. In fact the backend for FaultReporter there was turned off last Nov

I see it serves no purpose anymore then, and will stop using it. I'm a bit surprised ... thought since there is shared code between CbB and Splat, that it would be useful to report problems encountered in the legacy software.

Thanks Noel!

@iR - that's what I was thinking, hence my curiosity.

That's good. I had visions of them spilling all over the floor of a room that nobody seems to have the key for anymore. Oh what a mess.

But think for a minute. They have fixed a bunch of bugs since then, so most of the data coming in would be pointless.

+1 :) Very good point, I didn't even think of that.
