Yep. You have 11 months.

Simple solution: If you don't upgrade your OS and want to be completely safe, don't upgrade your applications. I have a removable system drive, and one disk has Windows XP with all the versions of programs that ran on it frozen in time in case I ever need them.

Great advice Craig.  I am planning to put Sonar Pt/Win 10 on a new drive but was hoping to wait until January 2016 if Sonar Pt/Win 7 continues to work that long.  BTW, I still have a cassette of my music software and midi files from my Commodore 64, that's almost the same thing. right.

January 2016 is only a little over four months away. If Platinum doesn't work with Windows 7 for the next four months, I would be somewhere beyond astonished. After all, Platinum works with Windows 10 now and still works with Windows 7. I can't imagine such a seismic change in Windows 10 that over the next four months, programs that worked with Windows 7 turn into pumpkins.
