I'm trying to use Audiosnap to manually align a bass track to a kick drum track.
Sometimes it works fine. Other times. when I move a transient marker on the base track, all I hear is a pop the keeps repeating until it fades out.
Any ideas? Am I doing something wrong?

Zoom in and make sure the transient marker hasn't been placed late - partway into the attack; you can re-position it as necessary by dragging the center diamond. You might also need to try bouncing the audio with the Radius Solo (Bass) offline algorithm, but the default Grooveclip algorithm shouldn't be that bad if the marker is correctly located and you aren't moving it too far.

Thanks for the reply. Sonar was doing a lot of freaky stuff this weekend. The most crashes that I've had in a long time. I was able to get the bass track were I wanted it by using the split at transient function and just physically moving the notes that were off.  I've never had a great deal of success using Audiosnap.

If you are crashing check your windows event viewer for details.

Standard advice is update your audio interface firmware and drivers, get windows update up to date, try and get rid of your 32 bit plugins and remove asio4all if you have it...

Otherwise if you think it is a bug give is some steps to repro. Cheers..

I will check the event viewer.
My drivers are all up to date. No 32 bit plugs. I know that since I upgraded to Windows 10, any plugs the require the iLok manager don't work, so I haven't bothered using them.
The only other thing that I can think of is the UAD stuff.
It's odd. I'll have issues with certain features working. I get frustrated and walk away for a while. Then I'll reopen Sonar and that feature will work as designed.

Did you update iLok and your plugins to the latest versions?

Yes. I actually uninstalled iLok manager and reinstalled it from the latest download. It won't even run and I don't have time right now to deal with it.
The funny thing is, with Sonar Platnum and the few Pro Channel add ons that I purchased,I really don't need the the stuff that's tied to iLok.
At some point it would be nice to be able to use stuff that I payed for , but I'll wait until I have some downtime to screw with it.
