  • Can I add the same plugin to many selected channels in console view

I've tried this by selecting desired tracks in console view while holding the down the ctl key, trying to add and it's doesn't work. Is there a way to do this?

Example: adding many instances waves NLS or certain compression plugs ETC on the fly.

There is no way to add one plugin to a bunch of tracks at once. You can Ctrl+drag to make a copy. Note with the NLS though that part of its claim to fame is the modelling of something like 32 different channels of the console. If you copy a plugin from one track to another you will get the same modeled console channel, so Waves recommends you manually insert a new instance for each track.

thanks James.

I think NLS with protools adds instances and automatically changes the "modeled" version to a unique number....  but I know this doesn't happen in Sonar.  It's a manual thing with Sonar but it would be nice to multi select many channels and slap a plugin in the fx bin with one click. I'll feature request it.
