I have LASS Strings FC loaded into Kontakt as a multi that I created and saved as a template.

There are six string patches in this multi, each with it's own midi channel, midi channel strip and it's own instrument channel strip.

Patch changes and controller changes are programmed onto each midi channel.

All my midi strips are set to Input>None.  When I click on the track, it automatically switches to Omni, which is all normal as far as I can tell, and after a ridiculous amount of effort, everything seems to be working pretty well.

Except, one of my midi channels of the multi keeps changing itself to my controller keyboard's (Oxygen 49) Omni selection.  It's driving me nuts.  I think it may be happening when I boot up, but I'm not sure. It seems like every time I go to work on another track, I hear strings in the background, and I have to go back to that channel and switch the input to None again.

Anyone know what the heck is happening?

Turn off "Always Echo Current MIDI Track" in Preferences > MIDI > Playback and Recording

Okay, thanks much for the fast reply, I will try that.
But any idea why it always only does it repeatedly  on the same channel?? It only happens to this Viola channel.  I have Session drums, some drum loops, Rapture, SampleTank, Addictive Piano, Strum Acoustic all loaded and just this one Viola patch seems to want to change.

OK, I tried this and it doesn't seem like a good solution.  Now, instead of just going to the Viola track and resetting it once in a while, I have to click and unclick the midi echo button every time I want to work on another instrument.
