Excuse me beep I wrote at your own risk and check with Focusrite, and always backup. I also stated that Vista was not listed for this version of mix control. Say what you like but I gave full due warning. I avoid caps.

There is a good chance these drivers will work just not supported. Much like win10 driver issues. He should contact Focusrite IMHO.

I am not slagging you, man. I was just making sure the OP got extra warning. I do think this is likely a much simpler issue to resolve than installing a mismatched driver.

Troubleshooting is about starting with the path of least resistance/using Occam's Razor... n'est ce pas? No need to get offended.

Seriously... please don't get offended. I'm just trying to suggest some simple solutions to get OP his missing channels back.

Aye?

Cheers.

I thought this might be interesting.

Apparently Sonar platinum runs in Windows Vista operating system context, under Windows 10.

The Adat connection is what I used before, I believe. And yes options- audio drivers - ASIO drivers of which some are grayed out.
Its been about 3 years since I had it going. I know I had to purchase a TI f/w card to get it to work.
Thank you

Thanks
I have contacted focusrite and waiting. It was previously working.
I'm not 100% but I think I'm using 2.1 mix control

Updating the mix control is how u update the drivers.
And a long time ago focusrite sent me an email with a working mix control update.

Nope totally get your Beep... But I differ I think from top downwards from a software level... it's far easier to troubleshoot that way esp when you are looking a dependencies. You then move onto other things...

Don't forget that Sonar only displays the odd numbered inputs and outputs.

You typically end up with
1= 1 Left, 2 Right, Stereo
3= 3 Left, 4 Right, Stereo etc
While on your audio device you might have inputs 1-8 and outputs 1-8 in sonar they will appear as above"

You may also find you will need to change from Legacy firewire driver when you move up to Mix Control 3.6
