Hi All,
After inputting a piece in played in realtime from the piano keyboard, I would like to be able to change the display resolution of selected notes (namely an octave's glissando glide up the keys) so that these are displayed on the staff view at their correct duration. The problem currently is that setting the resolution high enough to do this has to be done for the entire performance. The end result is that the display of the rest of the music notation on the stave is far too precise owing to the natural feel or swing of the piece as performed live.
 
Anyone else agree?

What you're asking for is that Sonar staff view should become more like a notation software, where such customization is possible.
 
 . . . but alas, Sonar's staff view is not that at all, it's more of a simpler staff playback / basic editing system. 
 
So, yes, I'll agree I'd like to see what you're asking for, but there have been many staff view threads here, and it's clear that the development of the staff view to this level would be asking a lot considering the apparent lower percentage of staff view users.

I wouldn't have thought my tweak would be that hard to implement - after all it's only a question of applying a function that already exists for the piece as a whole just to a subset? ....(I Hope!)
