I just had to set up a new computer. I've been using Sonar/Cakewalk since day 1... like DOS days. I don't expect to do much work on projects I completed in 1991 but I do have some current projects that use V-Vocal and Perfect Space. I have my installation via Commander back to ProAudio 7. Does anyone know how to install the plug-ins from earlier versions without destroying my new Sonar Platinum install? Also, is there an index or something that documents which plugins are found in which version? Thanks in advance.

Every version of SONAR (prior to the current version) has an advanced install option which provide a pick list to select which components to install. V-Vocal is the exception. It requires the SONAR program itself be installed. Not sure how far back you want to go to reinstall plug-ins. Here are lists going back to SONAR 8 http://forum.cakewalk.com/FindPost/3217211

Thanks very much for the link. I wouldn't care about V-Vocal if I didn't have projects that are using it... same with "Perfect Space", though it appears that I can re-install that from my X3 files.
