Out of the blue now Gloucester won't start after powering up my computer and trying to run it.
It crashes with a faulting module: StackHash_e1ae.

I go to the Gloucester download on my c: drive and reinstall then we're good until the next power down and startup.
Then the whole cycle begins again.
I'm imaging the disk and will check them tomorrow.
Anybody seen this? StackHash_e1ae results in a whole 2 hits on google.

Addendum:
Google produced this when I searched for just StackHash_

Here’s how 99 percent of Vista users can fix a StackHash failure. I’ll walk you through it step by step:

—————
1. Open your Start menu and click Control Panel
2. Browse to “System Maintenance” then “System”
3. In the left panel, select “Advanced System Settings” from the available links
4. You should now see the System Properties Window, which will have three sections. The top section is labeled “Performance” and has a “Settings” button. Click this button.
5. Select the “Data Execution Prevention” tab.
6. Select the option which reads “Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select”
7. Use the “Browse” button to locate the executable file for the application you were trying to start when you received the StackHash error, and click Open to add it to your exceptions list.
8. Click Apply or OK to commit your changes.

I turned off DEP altogether via: bcdedit.exe /set {current} nx AlwaysOff
Restarted, and was once again presented with a crash over the spash screen.

Did a quick reinstall and we're good again.

Possible you might have antivirus conflicting somewhere.. Try a temp disable.

Anyway here's the general advice as this looks like a windows issue.

* Turn DEP back on.
* Run chkdsk /r on your hard drives (google for details).
* Run antivirus software across your hard drives.
* Run malwarebytes across your hard drives.
* Update your audio interface firmware and drivers.
* Run windows update everywhere.
* Perform sfc /scannow (google for details).
* Attempt to run Sonar as administrator. If you are already doing this then vice versa.

Another thing, is this a clone of a partition that used to live elsewhere? (If not ignore this).
Use with caution, don't blame me if things go wrong (such a productID issues):

We need to know at the very least your windows version and the full name of your audio interface.

Hu, now after running chkdsk /r on the system drive where sonar lives I now have this crash even after the reinstall that was fixing it yesterday. I rolled back to Foxboro and the it at crashes in the same manner.

X3 still runs as normal so I will use that till I hear from Cake.

Did chkdsk /r find errors? (Check event viewer).
If this has changed you behaviour then you probably may have something substantially wrong with windows.

You need to run sfc /scannow directly afterwards. And Windows update.
Are you absolutely sure you are virus and malware free?
Sorry to keep repeating !

Cheers..
