Has anyone experienced a problem with a project continuing to ask to save even after the project is complete? For some reason I have one project that even if I want to just play it, the editor asterisk pops up and when I want to close, it asks to save or not. The song is mostly midi tracks with a few soft synths that have been converted to audio. Any suggestions on what setting is causing this.

I've got some particular projects that always do this. I save the project, then close and it prompts me to save again. But I don't know what else they all have in common that might be causing this behaviour.

I suspect that certain plug-ins must do something as they start up that causes Sonar to consider that the project has changed. I generally just ignore it.

Automation can cause that.
 

Thanks for the reply. I will look at the automation and see if that's the issue. Really weird!

I have a track in a project where automation on one of the ProChannel eq bands is automated and the track is frozen, including fx.
If I open the project and play it even for a millisecond, Sonar thinks the project has changed and asks me if I want to save it when I close it.

Even stopping the project at a different point from the saved version will do that.
