So.

We have Cakewalk by Bandlab, or CbB for short.
CbB = C-Flat B, which we all know is BB.
Which is equivalent to bb, which means double flat.
Which is equivalent to Flat Flat.
Which can be abbreviated to ff.
So. The new name has a nickname: Fortissimo!

To answer your question : Someone to blame :) Lifted from a poem I wrote once upon at time.
"What's in a name, but someone to blame ?".

I was trying to put CB as the new acronym for a while, as it is shorter and more to the point.
You normally don't put binding words in an acronym, it's USA ... e.g. it not USoA.
Anyway, I've fallen in line with using CbB ... it has something musical over it ... as well as being a duality.
I like dualities actually. Words with double or even triple bottoms of meaning.

In parts of Europe where (American)Bb=B and (American)B=H....Then following your formula;
CbB = CbBb = BBb = BBB = bbb = FFF = fff = Forte-Fortissimo!

CbB (B-Bb enharmonically) can have a nice chromatic fall to it, depending where you live.
