Reporting back ...

Setting the 'Share Drivers' ON created more issues than it resolved.
1. ... and likely why I switched it off in the first place ... to get realtime audio response from the microphone/Input Echo On - I had to be focused on the Sonar Window.
2. Latencies were more apparent.
3. Each screen recording initiation reset the Windows playback/record volumes to 50% ... and it wasn't loud enough regardless when elevated.
4. ... And the biggest issue - whilst I could hear 'live' Z3TA+ 2 synth ... it was never recorded to the video capture (Microphone input was).

In hindsight - I've been through all this before. ... leading me to the Voicemeeter solution which suits my needs.

good info!

Loving all this. I won't be dorking around with any of these things too intensely in the immediate future but it is exactly why I posted this preemptively. A lot of things to keep track of and know and now there is some great documentation for me to come back to when I have this stuff installed and ready to go.

Awesome. Hopefully it will help others too. Once I get it sorted I will certainly not scrooge out on sharing info either.

Thanks.

I think Win10 has a screen capture feature built in.

Hold the windows key and press G.

Just whilst it's hot on my thought ... another thing which may 'cover' for any realtime latencies, if you want to hear what what you are saying at the time, is 'Direct Monitor' on your Audio interface which many/most have. I also 'played' with that on my earlier tests.

Easily controlled / toggled in Voicemeeter - typically with the A1 Output Channel.

Ibanez - Yes, yet to go to Win10 ... and claims of 'near ASIO performance' in WASAPI shared mode:
