once in a while a plug in hangs up Sonar and my computer on me.  Melodyne is one of them.  I have noticed that when this happens now in Gloucester I don't have to reboot my computer any more.  If I wait a second Sonar now closes everything out and I can restart Sonar.

I have noticed that if I have Sonar open and I'm going from one file to the next that has Melodyne in it, Sonar will crash.  However, if I open a file from a fresh start of Sonar, there is no problem.

Just thought I'd share...

Have you reported the Melodyne issue to the bakers? (that shouldn't be happening at all)

Not to do with melodyne, but i get crashes when trying to go from one project to another here too...

Previously i had been writing it off to my use of VSampler as a 32 bit plugin... But then i noticed it crashed even when this plugin was frozen (not loaded) and a few other crashes in projects that don't use this plugin...

It doesn't crash if i load it as a first load upon starting Sonar (luckily)...

Melodyne is slightly less stable than Sonar. Reporting this to Celemony makes no difference as there are no clear reproduction steps. It's not even clear whether it's Melodyne itself or ARA or whatever. Just that Sonar tends to get a little less stable when you're running lots of Melodyne clips live.

You mean stand alone Melodyne, otherwise I don't know how you would differentiate..

Keni: And I thought I was the only one trying to make the VSampler work in plat.  It does work for me if I load up old projects.  But, if I attempt to display the GUI to tweek....it crashes fast.
