Hi all,

I have rebuilt Windows since a crash and just opened the last project I was working on. This project contains NO midi - it's all audio that was exported from an Ableton Live session.

Now, the project plays at something like 80% slower than it did before with a lower pitch as well. I've done nothing to the project. Changing the tempo doesn't affect anything since there's no midi. It's like sonar lost the sample rate info for the files or something. I've had this happen once before and no one could help.

What could possibly cause this problem, and how do I fix it?

Verify that the sample rate of your sound card is the same as the sample rate in your project.

woah. So the sound card was showing 48 as it should for the project. I changed the sound card to 44.1 and then BACK to 48 and all is well.

THANKS! Any idea why this would happen?

sounds like a glitch in the soundcard software or something.  what kind of soundcard is it?

I think I've gotten as much mileage out of my unsupported Mackie 1200f as I'm going to get. I'm going to look at a new interface. :/

On a rebuild Windows will revert to defaults everywhere on you. Be sure to check properties on things. The exclusive modes in Windows and SONAR are something else to verify.
