Hi Everyone.
 
Just wondering if any clever person here is using a Novation Ultranova as a controller in Sonar? I tried using automap to do so when it was first released and it was a bit of a nightmare, so I am curious as to whether things have improved since. I thought I would ask if anyone has had any success before I jump down that rabbit hole again:)

I have a Faderport and a Novation 25 SL. I can get one, or the other working, but not both at the same time. Automap seems to work well with what little I was able to use it. I have both units working in S1 and Cubase 8, but grew frustrated working it all out in Sonar. Taking a break, then I'll do more research and see if I can get both to run at the same time.

I've spent at least a dozen hours trying to get these to work, and neither do it consistently if both are installed. I may give support a call tomorrow or Tuesday to see if they can help.

Yes - I spent a day last week playing with them Dale. Both the Faderport drivers and the Automap plugin seem a bit fragile. I have settled on the Faderport as it sems to work well if left to its own devices. Automap is still very unstable on my system:(
I hope support have some answers for you:)

I'm hoping ACT gets an update. Took me all of 20 mins to set them up in three other daws.

Hi. Which version of Automap are you using? I have a Novation Nocturn, that works (for the few things I use it for).
I found that version 4.8 was "the one" that worked for me.

Thanks for the tip Ken. I notice in the release notes that is the version that added Sonar support. I will give it a try.
