Hi all, I just purchased a 1814 to use with sonar x3 and have a win7 x64 system.  Everything went ok installing it but I only show adat channels 1&2 plus '1814 multi-channel' in my sonar setup.  Can someone tell me why I can't see all 8 channels from my adat interface?

Thankx for any help someone can provide,
J

Hello J,

Not really familiar with that interface but it sounds like those 2 "ADAT" channels are possibly "SPDIF". The ADAT could either need to be changed from SPDIF and may need to have a 2nd ADAT capable device connected to become active. Generally one would have two ADAT capable devices to increase the number of I/O. An Example would be the M-Audio plus an Focusrite Octopre or similar device. IHTH..

Already found that setting, yes I have it on adat for sure.  That brought up the "adat 1/2" option. the "multi-channel" option was present with either setting.  I am showing all 8 channels in the 1814 control panel too.

Thankx for the help,
J

Ok, problem solved.  I found a setting in the X3 audio panel called "Driver Mode" it was set for MME/32bit, if I change it to any of the other modes I get all the channels as expected.  Also I installed AISO-for-all and X3 works in AISO mode too.  Thankx to the mod for the help getting this in the right place.

According to the manual for you interface, there is an ASIO driver for it.
You should really use that as performance will undoubtedly be better.

Do you have the latest driver for it ?

ASIO4All onlymakes a WDM driver look like ASIO.
