Hi;

I know this might not be the place for this, but I'll try anyway.  Any suggestion would be most appreciated.
I've been using a very old version of Miroslav Philharmonik Orchestra Classic Edition by IK Multimedia.  I bought it 8 years ago from the old AudioMIDI site for all of $30.00 USD.  They had it on sale really cheap.  Anyway, it's been working fine up until I installed Cakewalk by Bandlab.  I know it's a 32 bit program and CBB only recognizes 64 bit, but now I can't even get Sonar X3 to open it.  In fact it's completely disappeared from my plugins folder (the .dll is still there but it doesn't show up in the menu in the DAW).  The weird thing is that it worked before I installed CBB.  It worked fine in a project I did in X3 only a few weeks ago using the choir.  I'm not real disturbed by it as I don't use it much because it causes some major hangup problems but I'd still like to get it back if possible.  I'm also going to email IK Multimedias tech support.  At this point I can't even load Sampletank, which is also IKM.  Thought I'd try here.  Maybe somebody has a suggestion.

Thanks;

You might start by double checking your VST paths in CbB. The vst paths did not migrate from your previous X3 install. I haven't specifically checked as yet but I believe that CbB does support 32 bit plug ins and It think it uses the same bit bridge schemes as the old Platinum installs. Maybe a shouldn't comment because I haven't dug in as deep as some on the forum - but my experience so far is that CbB and the later installs of Sonar operate exactly the same.

I have old 32 bit PhilharmonikCE running wrapped in jBridge. Went away for awhile but came back, running fine in CbB (just double checked, Win 10 update didn't break it.)  Get jBridge!

Are you using it in X3 32 or 64 bit?
CbB is 64 bit, in my experience you will want to "bridge" IK 32 bit plugs with JBridge;
Not with bit Bridge (that's the bridge that's included with X3 64 bit (and I assume CbB).

jBridge, like most wrappers, has a demo version so you can verify it works with the programs you need to bridge before you buy.
