If so, boy do I wanna talk to you.
I 'm pretty new to all this, I 've gotten this far:
I 've got five LASS instruments loaded into Kontakt assigned to their own input modules and midi channels and saved to a track template.
Everything works, but there 's got to be a better way. I obviously want to play legato lines mixed with staccato and spiccato.
The way I 've got it, everything needs to be on a seperate track with it's own midi channel and I have to break up my performance every time I want to switch articulations. I tried programming midi channels on a per note basis in the event inspector, but the channel doesn't seem to change.
How are you folks setting up LASS?

Hi, yes I use it all the time. I use one instance of Kontakt for each section and have a midi channel set up for each divisi within that. So for instance
1st violins (kontakt)
Midi channel FC
Midi channel section A
Midi channel section B
Midi channel section C
Midi channel full.
This way, if you use the correct LASS template, you can use keyswitches to change articulations on the fly and also record whatever divisi sections you want to use at the same time or independently. If for instance I want to record all 16 1st violins, for speed I use full section, for more realism, I play and record each divisi section individually and nearly always mix in the FC on top. I then edit cc data of all parts independently as well. If you need help setting this up let me know.

Thanks for the reply.
I do not think that I can do that as I don't have the full version, only LASS First Chair.  I don't have the A.R.C. or Divisi.

BTW, does anyone know what I might be doing wrong with trying to change midi channels on a per note basis? That might be my answer.
