Apology here: I jumped the gun on pointing the finger at ReMatrix.  The project has crashed again a couple of times after I removed the instance and impulse that seemed to reliably provide a reproducible crash scenario.  I am now in full tech-support-mode sending bundle file and all that.  Between failing at Win10 w/ firewire and being at the mercy of unexplained crashes... sad panda.
