Hi guys, I had to swop to my cloned C Drive, and the clone was made about a month ago (which means many many hours of work ago).

Opening one or two projects gives me a few "Missing .......wav" and "Missing......sfz" messages, even though the files seem to be on the drive in their folders. It does not specify which synth it is, but those files sit in the Rature LE folder, which I haven't used for years!

Is there perhaps a path missing, or what would be the reason?

Your output would be considered valuable input.

Thanks, Ludwig

It is pretty easy to get confused when talking about sample paths and file names without details. If you could be more specific about:
  • the error messages
  • exactly where the wavs and sfzs were found
  • which synth is throwing the messages
I can probably help you sort it out.

Hi Scook, it turned out to be Rapture. I managed to search and copy the missing files from the older drive. The error message was so vague, it literally only said "Multisample not found". The Bakers really need to make a plan with this error box - not enough info by far!

Glad you got it solved. There is an sfzlog.txt created in the Rapture "Content Folder." The default location is "C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Rapture." The log contains full paths to missing files. DPro has a similar layout.

With the release of RPro, I doubt DPro or Rapture will ever be updated. FWIW, RPro does not even through up any kind of missing data dialogs making it even harder to know the program is incomplete. Logging is a little better though.
