bjornpdxCatchy tune in a laid back style, just the way a song should be. I like the "medal for mediocrity" I have a trophy case full of them.
cwestmontThis is great. It has the whole package -- good lyrics, catchy hooks, solid instrumentation, and the vocals are a good match with the tune. Like the hot ending. Well done guys.
Johnbee58Daryl, you most definitely have your own sound. All of the songs I've heard of yours have something in them that links them together, sound wise. That's what I love about the great Burt Bacharach. You know from the first bar or two that it's a Bacharach song. Yours are becoming that way too. Not saying all of your tunes sound the same, but are in the same style and same overall sound. The Staypress Sound. Be proud of it.
Serious_Noize!Enjoyed hearing this one very much! The Vocals are right in front of you and easy to hear. That's not always the case in a lot of songs. But what I really like, while the vocals are right in front, you can still hear everyone else also. I'm no mix master that's for sure, but I like what I hear with the mix. Even more so, I love the song!!!
Freddy JLove does mature in different ways but still can be there. This is nothing but a terrific number. I tried really hard to come up with a crit. but just couldn't find one. Parts of this song remind me a bit of Brazil '66 and I love them. You two have really put out some great songs but I would put this one at the top of the list. Excellent!!!
the_user_formally_known_as_glennboReally clean mix. Cool song too. Like the middle bit where it drops to just bass and synth for a minute.
LeizerGreat work, mate! Every sound is a piece of art, dipped in saturation and mixed together to an quirky master-piece (pun embedded). Catchy chorus with the portamento synth following the bass living it up. Great playing as well, James! Lovely transition from wild west solo back to the chorus.
