Ya, who knows....Could be that the keyboard velocity responds a little differently. I wouldn't be surprised if a Motif has better quality DACs though. Some people claim there is a difference. Could be just the ones with the golden ears, but it's been a topic of debate on other forums.

true, but I have "Hi Fi" friends who claim they can hear the difference in cables that cost $5000 vs cables that cost $50.

Cables won't do it, but a bottle of Jack makes anything sound better.

I go back as far as the days of the Juno 60, and I also had a Juno 106 from Roland. They claimed they were identical in sound, but I could always hear a subtle difference. The 60 sounded better.
 
Back on topic I have done some further research and discovered the differences between the keybeds for all the models. Thanks for the info guys, and the help!
 

@emwhy, could you summarize your findings?  What did you discover about the moxf6 keybed?  What did you end up buying and why?
