Is there a doc somewhere detailing the current state of the Command Centre?
I've seen a few posts referencing the update to it, but didn't find any real explanation.

Thanks,

CCC checks itself and you get the choice to update. Yes, it would be a good idea to have the working version shown somewhere on the interface. I'm not aware of an 'official' location detailing the changes.

The latest is always downloadable from:
http://www.cakewalk.com/command-center
Initiation of download will show it's version - currently 1.1.1.20.

You can also check your working version from the (right-click) Properties > Details tab of:
e.g,
C:\Program Files (x86)\Cakewalk\Command Center\Cakewalk-Command-Center.exe

I have not upgraded to Plat yet, so I have not used the CCC.
I bought and paid for Plat several months ago, but was waiting for the CCC to mature a little.
Many people were not happy with it, and the work around was to dload and install manually if you wanted any control.
I was inquiring as to the changes/fixes to CCC. Is it working for everyone now or just those that accept the defaults?
I did not see any documentation of the changes/fixes to CCC.

My experience is that the latest CCC works great.  This from a CCC holdout ...

I did install S-Plat right away though by manually downloading and installing the old fashioned way.

I've been using Pro Audio/Sonar for a long time.  The current S-Plat release is the best ever, IMO.  And CCC caught up with it's own latest update.

Is there really no documentation for the CCC?

AFAIK, it has no separate documentation at this time. It is in the SONAR documentation and there are videos on the CW youtube page about how to install SONAR using it.

Not that I'm aware of other than the main page above and forum threads.

The latest version allows you to apply a couple more top level directory path settings:
- Download Path
- Content Path
(in addition to 32/64 bit paths for VST2/3s)

If you are installing to other than C:/ drive, you may still have to do manual/interactive installs where you'll be prompted for any product specific paths, to initialize registry entries, if they are not already set (?). You can download direct from your account or CCC (for download and cancel out on installer invoking).
