Hay all,
I’m using Sonar Platinum and the browser audition feature does not play any sound.
It looks straight forward so I can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong.
I go to the browser and open and click on an audio file then in the Now Time view it shows a status bar moving and the arrow in the browser turns into a blue button but I hear nothing. If I drag the file into the track view it creates a track and puts the wav file on the track and then I can play it fine.
This is the same basic thing that is going on with the midi data too. I can drag the midi data into the track view to any softsynth and it will play but when I want to audition the midi data in the browser I hear nothing.

thanks

In the browser have you selected a "preview bus" and a soft synth to preview midi - from memory the options are in the drop down menu on the MEDIA tab - you can also select things like auto preview, preview at project tempo, loop etc.

I hope this helps point you in the right direction

Thanks for this tip. It works, but only when I first click on it in the browser. If I click on a new loop, it doesn't work until I re-click on the preview bus in the media tab.
Any ideas?
