  • Strange numberpad response to nudge

Fred Holmes
this happens ONLY on my Dell XPS8700 desktop AND with any keyboard I use.
I does not happen on my Laptop
Both running Sonar Platinum with latest Foxboro x64
Win 8.1 64 bit with latest updates
It happens with every cwp fili I load

The nudge tinme is set for Musical
Nudge 1 = 1/8
nudge 2 = 1/16
nudge 3= 1/16

When I select a clip and try to nudge it with the numberpad I get a thick(ish) white line that becomes the focus of the next action. While I can move the curser now time to a different location that original line now take precedence no matter what I do.

Example: Select a clip-use numberpad to try to nudge it and that line now becomes the focal point for a Split command no matter where I place the now curser with the mouse. The numeric now time indicator in the command bar does show the correct mouse selected now position but that is not the focal point.

I've tried one wireless keyboard and one USB keyboard without success.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Fred

Fred,

The amount the clip or note moves is determined by the settings in Edit > Preferences > Customization - Nudge.
Have you tried to change these values?

Take a look at the settings and adjust as necessary.
