Where are the themes now stored under SPLat a folder was created under Cakewalk Content and in a folder Cakewalk Themes.
I don't see that under cakewalk core and the only the two default themes are showing under preferences. Had loads more before i splat.
Good question. Since Cakewalk by BandLab and SONAR are separate products, as are Cakewalk Theme Editor and SONAR Theme Editor, we decided to have them load/save themes from different folders.
The old version, SONAR Theme Editor, stores themes here by default:
C:\Cakewalk Content\SONAR Themes\
However, Cakewalk Theme Editor stores themes here by default:
C:\Cakewalk Content\Cakewalk Themes\
You're free to copy/move theme files between the two folders, and use them in CbB and/or SONAR.
Tip: Themes are backward/forward compatible
to some extent, but to avoid potential compatibility issues, we recommend updating old SONAR Themes for use in CbB like so:
1. Open Cakewalk Theme Editor.
2. Open the old SONAR theme you want to update, which is likely stored in C:\Cakewalk Content\
SONAR Themes\.
3. Click the 'Save As' button, and save it to C:\Cakewalk Content\
Cakewalk Themes\.
4. Open CbB, and you should be able to select the theme in Preferences -> Themes.
