You should through run xln installer periodically for updates.

I had the Foxboro 1 update completed previously. I DL'd the new CC and ran it. Opening it revealed Update All. Ihad Yellow on Platinum, Dim Pro, Kick Start, and whatever may have been beneath the 1st layer of Platinum and the rest of the headers. The Update All selection found 19 of 21 total updates, and finished them all without incident in about 12 minutes.

Just thinking ... it'd be nice to have a checkbox style 'update selected' for multiple but not all installs.

Agreed.   Currently if you choose to exclude one or two items, you're out of luck and still have to do them manually.

It's been said before, but bears repeating:  XLNAudio's installer is the one to emulate in terms of ease and flexibility.  Going from that one to Sonar's just feels like going backwards; doubly ironic since many of us were introduced to this installer's functionality via Sonar (and the AD bundle).

Workaround is hide/unhide I think.

I did the upgrade last night.  You must update the C3 in order to see the "Update All' option.  Sorry, I should have recorded the actual steps.
