I was working on a project for an artist, it seems when i export the song seems to be a lil slower than the original. However the lyrics and everyting is perfectly on where it should, be so that tells me its prolly not a track. Im thinking something in the export possibly could be affecting it. Also i recently purchased Ozone 6 and this is the first project ive used it on. I put it on the master track for a real quik rough master for listening purposes. I didn't add anything that i think should chagne the tempo or speed of the song really. Its really not too noticeable either.

I was thinking 1. He did send me somewhat bad recordings so maybe after i cleaned it up the words were actually clear and precise making it SOUND somewhat slower due to the fact the words no longer bled into one another; or

2. Something in the export affecting the coding possibly. I exported MP3 - 180 and 320 (did both for the hell of it) at 41000 (64 bit) at BEST quality on the MP3 export scale thing. I didn't notice till he said something.

I just want to know what yall think. Would you think it would most likely be PERCIEVED time change due to the cleaning and editing or a coding error upon export.

How about importing the original wav and the new one into a project to see if they are visually the same length?

Thank you wiZard, I actually just did that few minutes ago and everything seemed fine. I think it's the way it's perceived that's my only conclusion.
