^^^ as with mettelus, when i transferred from one hard drive to another i actually had a look at the files. each Program had its own folder inside of Cakewalk in its individual part. Didn't seem like anything was really overwritten. Each version seemed to have all its own stuff.

Also on Melodyne Editor, would u say it gives u more flexibility and options when it comes to vocal editing, pitch correcting etc...? Than that of V-vocal?


 
Ryan, other than missing the pencil tool, Melodyne editor is quite capable of doing just about anything VV can do.  Once you get used to the pitch drift tool and the pitch modulation tool, you may not miss the pencil tool.  If you're dealing with polyphonic material, Melodyne is in a league of its own.
