So I launch CCC and it informs me that there is a new version of ccc available would I like to install it. I select "Yes" and it sits there staring at me doing nothing and then a picture of Andrew, Noel and Ryan sticking out their tongues with Craig giving Noel and Ryan bunny ears pops up on the screen! Is this normal?
 
O.k. maybe there was a little hyperbole in the above.

I finally just downloaded it from the cakewalk site.

This only happens on optimized Dell PC's.
 

I can't get it to load... also D-Pro update is downloading at 1% every two minutes... so almost two hours to DL on high speed DSL. where is the problem here?

Yup! THANKS! After around 5 minutes it was installed, % never moved.

Watch out for a pop-up box hiding behind the Command Centre.

CW should have some kind of notification during the download process to show that it is actually still working.
Because Windows pops up a notification that says it has stopped responding.
 
I DL and installed it manually without problem.
 

CCC installed OK. but there was no "Install" or "Update" All as reported on another thread.
 
Dimension Pro is taking a long time to download.  Must be Cakewalk as I have an 80MB/sec ISP download speed.
 
 

I'm usually the impatient one, but sheesh, take a breath.   I had no issues with anything, and yes a complete d/l of DPro takes a long time. But you already knew that. Some updates are bigger than others.
 
But to expect hand holding(the hang on mate we're still working message idea) on simple upgrades seems a little out there.
 
Quality takes time...... I am amazed at the speed of the updates coming out. If this lasts more than a year, we may be bug free!

I've been trying to follow this but I may have missed something.  Is it necessary to DL and reinstall everything or just C3?
