I upgraded the CCC, checked the default paths, saw that there was an update for DP and used CCC to download and install.  I have my DP samples on F:\.  During the install, I saw a lot of activity  with samples apparently going to C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\DP.  But after it was all over, I could not find the samples on C;| and when I looked at the directory on F:\DP, I saw nothing newer than 2011.  So, where did all the "new" samples go?  I want to keep them off of C:\ and put them on F:\.  Help?!?!

If you have a happy working Dimension Pro - DON'T perform an Update.

That would be my advice also, but alas it seems to late for the OP

Arachnaut - what's the big deal?
It appears the primary aim of the update was for CCC interoperability and permissions issues.
Even if the 2 .sfzs were updated in error - you've found it and alerted us - thanks.
We can modify/restore those sfzs or await a future patch.
Do they change the sound significantly(?)
Sure - it'd be nice to be alerted of any content change.

I have linked my old install ... but I'd encourage everyone to maintain backups.
Sure - we shouldn't 'have' to use them.

[EDIT: - oh - I missed on my initial review that it could be 'wav' vs 'flac' changes(?) Which isn't necessarily insignificant.]
[EDIT: - OK - I've seen your reasoning for your stance in the other post]

If the relocation was setup correctly, the update will overly the existing installation. The current DPro update (and every release before it for the new SONAR) satisfies the C3 update indicator only. DPro and the factory content has not changed in years.

Effectively the changes do nothing.
