It's a good thing some folks don't wait. Otherwise the same bugs would pop up, just 3 weeks later...... Try to view this paradigm as a team. Heck, we are alpha testers/bug fix testers now. That helps speed along everything. I'm sure there will never be a point in time when someone doesn't have a beef, but there are more than a few of us who see the advantages down the road. As in everything, practice makes perf----well, good enough!

Thanks Noel!

I'm going to stick with real time bounces until the update is ready.  I can survive for now.
Thanks for the quick response.

Noel & fellow musicians,

I tested the "alpha" Foxboro build Noel supplied.

I can confirm this fixes my issue with the bad timing on bit bridge plugins :)

freezing works and fast render. I can Imagine it working for tempo changes to.

Thank you Noel for supplying such a quick fix and bakers for fixing stuff.

^^ this. Works perfectly with freezes/bounces with tempo changes too.

Thanks Noel! You saved me a rollback

Great read! This squashes my agenda to update to Foxboro this weekend. Very glad this was found out and that a fix is forthcoming next week. Thanks for your attention to it today Noel!

I'll just install when the updated update is released.

Same here. Glad you guys spotted it, glad it got fixed so quickly ...

hoping that the CCC update will follow soon, too, to save me from doing all these updates manually ...

Hey guys,

I got a yellow light in C3 next to SPlat. It says Foxboro update 21.5.0.30 is available.

Is this the update or is this showing cause I have the alpha build?

Should I update?

Thanks in advance :)

If you copied/pasted the alpha build, that is why. CCC will only show something green which it installs itself.

+1     I installed Foxboro on Wednesday and will just do the update next week.

Thanks for such a quick response Noel.  All my best to you and the CW team for a Happy and Safe 4th of July!

Sir William
Reaper 4 which is doing exactly what I need and with a lot less fuss.

indeed it can, and REAPER 5 is just around the corner, looking forward to that :)

But still no VST3 support for v5. Plus, I just want to make music, not play with my DAW. Reaper has a lot of good things going for it; it's just too raw for me.

Hi-

There is indeed VST3 support in v5, but this really shouldn't be discussed outside the R* pre-release forum!

Thanks-
