Hi John, Everett 1.1 seems to be doing it for me, so that's OK. Thanks guys, kind words... but a bit long Beepster. I think I'll start a thread complaining about you...

Don't blame, ya. I am probably contributing to many an eyestrain headache.

Exposing real bugs helps everybody.  And I feel for you, LJB.  One of the problems w/ the monthly updates is you don't know which one will mess up your system, unlike the yearly release which could co-exist with the older version.  I never did paid work on a new release until I was sure it was working.  Can't really do that anymore.  Just like anything, there is a plus and negative to any method.

I think anyone that's been around here a while knows you're the real deal Ludwig.

Not only that, he came up with the idea of using a plug-in's sidechain to record a track output to another. That's pretty cool. Silktone turning it into a plug-in was equally cool.

Haha Craig, that must have made a big impression on you - I've forgotten about that thread and the mirriad of "but WHY would ya wanna do that's?!?!" Hehe.

Hi Ludwig,

We definitely appreciate users who are heavily active in production reporting issues to us. We understand that it takes effort to troubleshoot and log issues when you have production deadlines.

Regarding the issue you reported, so far the assessment is that this is not new to Foxboro since Dan was able to reproduce it even in X3. According to the report it has to do with grouped buttons and freezing tracks. Nothing relevant that we know of has changed in this specific area in Foxboro, so its possible that you are running into it based on a specific sequence of operations. Is this accurate?

We will look into this issue for the next update since it is not a regression.

thanks,
Noel

Faux angst and outrage is soooooo late 90's. It's not good for one's physical or mental health either.

I might have to nick that quote.
