I have kept my fx and carried them forward through home studio 6xl to X2 however in Sonar Platinum they have all gone
If I cannot get them in Sonar Platinum where can I get them from. Let me know how I can get these oh yes they included dynamic compressors and the usual that Sonar used to come with. They definitely helped when it comes to mixing and getting the right sounds.

If they are 32 bit DX plugins and you are now fully 64 bit its going to be difficult to get them back. One way that has worked for me in the past was to use a DX to VST wrapper and let bitbridge allow them to run in a 64 bit host.

Is the DX to VST converter apart of the PLatinum?

scook
It is not part of SONAR. Here is one http://xlutop.com/buzz/zip/dxshell_v1.0.4b.zip

If you must use 32bit DirectX plug-ins the better solution is use 32bit SONAR. Otherwise, find 64bit replacements for the plug-ins.

I agree with Scook. In the long run move on to full 64 bits. The sooner the better.

Im ok with getting new ones which are 64bit if you can direct me to an online store or have recommendations I will check them out.
I was looking at Alloy 2 is that any good and does it contain those ingredients that I need?

I would try Melda Production's free bundle. Don't forget Sonitus has them too and they are bundled in Sonar Platinum.
