I'm making the jump to x64.
I have x86 8.5.3PE and x86 X1b(xyz whatever patch)PE working fine.
Dim Pro 1.5 x86 works fine in both 8.5 and X1 (x86) and in 8.5.3 x64.

I loaded Dim Pro 1.5 x64 and BOOM crash dumps in 8.5.3 x64.

Is it just me or is Dim Pro x64 ify?

TIA

Dim Pro has been my most stable synth, from what I've experienced. You haven't indicated that you have X1a or X1b patches in your 64 version. You probably did this and know this but just in case, you have to download and install the patch for 64 all over again. Also, I feel compelled to ask why the crash dump is going into a Sonar 8.5 folder, and not an X1 folder. Sorry that I can't help you further.

On my studiocat setup, dim pro is solid in x64....BUT, it's Rapture x64 that crashes for me. (Rapture x32 is solid.) CW support has no answers for me yet.

What, specifically, are you doing at crash time? Loading the synth? Loading a prog? Recording? etc. Is there a common thing that you are up to that the crash happens during? (Boy, is that a convoluted sentence!) For me, Rapture x64 crashes during playback, and some patches seem more crash-prone than others.

Is it always the same programs that crash Dim Pro? What are they? I can try them here and see if I can recreate or notice something or shrug my shoulders.....

I had a hell of a time getting DimPro to straighten itself out when I went 64 bit. I can't even remember what I did in the end, but I finally got it stable. I do recall lots of uninstaling and re-installing. Sorry I can't be more helpful.

czyky,
One program in particular every single time.
Its the top one in the drum sequences, I think.
I'm on the road so I can't load things up to tell you which one exactly.
I won't be back in front of Sonar until June the 28th.
Thanks for the help!
