• SONAR
  • [Solved] - Looking for Missing Braintree Features in Platinum

I've looked all over, but can't seem to find the following:
  • CA-X Amp: Acoustic Piezo
  • Anderson Collection VoxTools Effect
  • Hardgroove's Bass Loop Library
  • Rapture Expansion Pack: Hardgroove Steinberger
Any help in figuring out where to look for each one of these or how to make these show up in Sonar Platinum would be appreciated.

I'm running Sonar Platinum with the latest Braintree release (1b I think) that came out recently.  Command Center (expanded to show all features) shows up as all "green".

Thanks in advance,
Paul

  • You'll find Acoustic Piezo under CA-X amps in the FX Chains Presets folder.
  • VoxTools is also an effects chain, it's in the Anderton Collection Presets folder.
  • Assuming a standard installation, Brian's loops are under Audio Library > Loops.
  • Also assuming a standard installation, if you call up Rapture, Brian's Steinberger should be available in the browser. Remember you need to hit F5 when you open Rapture to refresh the browser.

If you still can't find them, I'll post a screen shot. Have fun!

Thanks for trying to help.

Here's what I have in the FX Chain\Anderton Collection and FX Chain\CA-X Amps paths in the Plugins tab of the Browser:

Here's what I have under the Audio Library\Loops path in the Media tab in the browser:

Here's what's in Rapture's Program Browser after pressing F5:

Are these the places to which you refer?  If so, do you or anyone else know of where I might be able to look on my system (registry or file system) to see if they are actually installed on my system somewhere?

Finally, in case you are wondering, here are the directory specifications under Sonar's Preferences\File\Folder Locations:

Thanks again,
Paul

It does not look like v1.0.0.10 of the Anderton Collection was installed. Does the C3 show that version was installed? I suppose you could check the default locations on the C drive and see if they were loaded there (although I had no trouble with redirection and the installer). You also may want to install http://www.cakewalk.com/Support/Knowledge-Base/20067171/Rapture-Expansion-Packs-1-2 which is not bundled with Rapture.

Thanks for your response.

Here's what the Command Center shows:

So to answer your question, the Command Center does indicate that all my Sonar features are up-to-date.

I would double check by clicking on the Anderton Collection to display the version number in the upper right below the Package title. If it shows v1.0.0.10 you could try a reinstall.

Thanks to all who tried to help.

I simply initiated a reinstall of all the components by way of the Command Center and I now have all the features available in Sonar Platinum.

Thanks again,
Paul

I can't find the Hardgroove bass loops either.  Everything in the drop down underneath Platinum is green, and I did a standard installation on a new computer. The Anderton collection in the Command Center is numbered 1.0.23, and I tried reinstalling that twice.  The EDM percussion loops actually show up at the top of the tree (where the Hardgroove loops are evidently supposed to be), then the Loopmasters, the Sample magic and then my imported loop files.  The Hardgroove files are nowhere to be found.

Anyone help?

If you were a member during Braintree, the Brian Hardgroove Collection should be a separate installer above the SONAR installer in the Command Center.

It was a one-month only special for "early adopters." It's supposedly for sale in the Cakewalk store if you missed out.
