As a forum host, Karen is probably privy to more information than the rest of us, I don't know.

I do know, and I can assure you we're not

Surely if Cakewalk wanted everyone to respond, they would have posted a link themselves, rather than email it?

If they were that bothered they could have deleted my post...   I know they've seen it.

I put down that I really hope there's some improvements to MIDI editing. Sonar is behind DAWs like Cubase and Studio One in that regard, and I'd even go as far as to say it's behind even REAPER. There are CAL scripts but they often don't function correctly.

There will now be a survey about whether people received the survey about the survey.

This has already been done apparently, but it wasn't sent to everybody.

Yup that was the survey about whether people had received the survey about whether they had recieved the survey about the survey.

Disappointed there wasn't a question as to whether or not we wanted a Cakewalk coffee mug....
I would have answered that one with a big YES!

Thanks for the link!

I agree mudgel, based on the questions Cakewalk asked in the survey they are really listening to their user-base.

I couldn't be happier with Cakewalk's vibe =)

Did you miss that question?

Never mind,  there'll be other surveys...

So, you know that you are  not privy to more information than the rest of us, but you "know" Cakewalk have seen this thread..

My apologies - I stand/cower corrected.

If CW didn't want anyone who received the email to publish the link, they probably would have said something in the email to that effect. AFAIK, they didn't, so I would be very surprised if they didn't anticipate that the link might be published here.

I don't want to go on about this - but this has not always been the case.

Sometime (around X1 or X2) a survey was sent out by email, wanting feedback from EXISTING Sonar X(x) users, asking for their feedback, etc.

Someone posted a link to the survey on here, and Cakewalk were anything but happy about it - and said so in these forums.

I am sure that is not the case here, but you can see the reason for my initial post.

I am sure that others remember this, too.
