  • Move Now Time Marker with middle mouse button?

Working with videos, a very annoying thing is to find the exact frame where the video changes from a scene to another (shot), to make the necessary audio changes when video changes.
Up to now I have to keep clicking gradually with the left mouse button on the Time Ruler to find the right spot.
I think it would be much easier if I could move the Now Time Marker with the Middle Mouse Button.
Currently using Ctrl or Shift+Ctrl with middle mouse button it just scroll the Track View, but the Now Time Marker remains in place.
Is there any way to set this up?

Ok, since there are no answers, I will rephrase the question: how to move Now Time with mouse?

How about just dragging the Now time marker header to left/right?

Draggin the Now time marker header doesn't refresh the video...

Try Ctrl+Mouse Wheel - horizontal scroll.   Just be sure to be zoomed in enough.

Thanks icontakt.

Indeed, Sonar is not a video editor, but I understand that he could ease a little our work, since it gives the possibility to view the video and sync with the audio.

Many people say that I should use the Vegas (due to the limitations of video formats that Sonar has), but I managed to find a friendlier coexistence with Sonar using MP4 videos and more.

The only issue here is that all my searches for scenes in the video has to be made with many mouse clicks when in friendlier softwares, just rolling the video to the left or right gives me a much faster way to find a scene or any other visual element.
This I do not have in Sonar.

Yeah, sorry about that, completely missed the Ctrl+Mouse Wheel reference.

That said, I wonder if the Scrub function might work?

What you need is a Mackie Control. It works fine to move the now time it also works in Vegas Pro.

The idea is good but does not work well.
The video is not refreshed in time in minor projects, and in heavier projects, scrub on track view with video freezes sonar ...
