I like his comment about AudioSnap, that " it still doesn't cuddle up to you".

I love the attitude of his review...

It's the kind of attitude that comes from someone who kept smashing his head against the wall with other software, and then found something that really worked for him...when I first suggested he try SONAR, his initial reaction was "yeah, very funny, but seriously - what do you recommend?" When he finally agreed to give it a shot, he asked what interface he needed to buy to work with it. When I said "You can use whatever you have" he found that hard to believe.

And yes, part of my motivation for coming up with the bass amp sims was because of his comment about X3 not giving enough love to bass players

I very glowing review indeed. It was a well thought out review with well explained points.

His conclusions are the same as my own except it still being a Windows only program. I don't care about that. After all Logic is still an Apple only program.

What is really cool about the review is how he views the membership model. Its clear he fully understands it. Also he describes what CW had to go through to make it happen. It shows how nimble CW is and how powerful the developers are. Having a vision but not being able to realize it can often happen. Here the vision was 20 20.

CW can take pride is setting another benchmark in the DAW world.

Glad to see Cakewalk is starting to get some of the
good publicity it deserves.

It was a very fair assesment of Splat. Yes, I do agree that he has a very good attitude in making the review.
